The annual Speedtrial takes place at the disused RAF airfield at Woodbridge, 10 miles North East of Ipswich in
Suffolk.
The runway is in very good condition and has a total length of 2.2 miles. The event is primarily for Jaguar cars,
however, we usually allow 10 other types, of Aston Martin and Ferrari heritage with a final capping of 60 cars in total.
Lasers are placed at the 1.5 mile point, and give an accurate terminal speed to 3 decimal places. Access to the event is
by CAR PASS only, as the airfield is controlled by military security. If you own a Jaguar or a particularly
interesting vehicle and would like more information please contact the
Speedtrial organisers by e-mail.
